Why didnt I stop at 5 blogs?

I’ve got to be honest the university only told us to write 5 blogs but as you’ll know by now I love blogging. Why do I love it so much? Why didn’t I stop at the bear minimum of just writing 5 blogs? You’re in luck because that’s what this blog is all about.

Some of you will know I have another blog that I’ve posted some mad stuff on. It’s a place for me to rant, to say what I like and get things off my chest. But why blogging? To be honest I saw my friend writing a blog and he is absolutely killing it with his. Danny puts my blog to shame. What I’d do now is implore you to go check out Dannys blog over at ‘In the Lions Den’. It’s a blog that talks about mental health and has a lot of super amazing stuff on Tourette’s too. I’ll leave a link at the bottom of this page.

Danny inspired me to start my own blogs all the way back in April of this year, so I’ve been blogging for a minute. It takes me about 20 minutes to write a blog and in that time, I can pour my heart and soul in to one thing. I don’t care if people never read these because I like to think that one day someone will at the right time. The idea that a silly blog I write could be the difference for someone always blows my mind.

What if one day one of these blogs urges someone to change their life. For God sake I was encouraged to get my shit together by a video of James Smith giving people tough love. You never know when your words may just be the kick up the behind people need to keep going. To just keep fighting. Blogging is my tiny way of enacting the change I would like to see in this world. Having people tell their stories, sharing what they love and appreciate about others and changing the lens through which people see them. I loved the ultimate warrior and he said something a day before he died that will sick with me forever.

‘Every mans heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breathe their final breath and if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence will be immortalised. By the storytellers by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honour him and make the running the man did live forever.’ For me life is all about stories and im grateful that I have the platform to share mine with the world. I love it.

So, I’m on my 10th blog or something and unlike most other people in this marketing course these blogs aren’t gonna stop. That’s not a dig on them people are busy. So, keep reading, keep commenting, keep sharing this stuff around. I’ll see you all very soon, until then don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. If you can’t be good be careful.

Also go check out Dannys blog here and go follow him on all the socials @itlionsden
